Team Educate are proud to represent a selection of Primary, Secondary, SEN and Alternative Provision settings in the Warwick area who are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Specific Learning Difficulties.

The role of Teaching Assistant is tailor-made for individuals who possess a strong desire and heartfelt dedication to nurturing the potential of all learners within the classroom. Experience working with young people previously is beneficial for this role- ideally, you will have experience supporting pupils with varying needs and abilities, including SEND and behavioural difficulties. If you have a relevant qualification – even better!

The role of a Teaching Assistant:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an integral role in providing tailored support to pupils, ensuring they receive the finest education and the tools needed for personal growth. Collaborating closely with class teachers, you’ll contribute to fostering a supportive teaching environment, allowing each pupil to thrive in their lessons. Your experience will mean that you can work closely with children with minimal supervision and will have the ability to take the lead in ensuring academic and behavioural development.

Successful Teaching Assistants should have:

  • A Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • A proactive attitude coupled with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Previous experience of working with/supporting the varying needs of young learners, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or a willingness to pay for a new application.
