Perhaps you have direct experience of working with young people with Special Educational Needs or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties from another sector and are looking to apply this within an Education context? Here at Team Educate, we’re currently in search of exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants for a school located in the CF3 area. Our partner school fosters a welcoming, diverse environment where there is a positive relationship between staff and pupils, fostering ambition and good outcomes for every student. Responsibilities:
– Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
– Provide support and guidance to students with special needs, including working with individuals on the autism spectrum
– Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
– Help supervise and manage classroom behavior
– Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
– Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, setting up activities, and maintaining a clean classroom

Qualifications and Experience:
– Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting
– Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
– Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and other staff members
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £86.00-£90.00 per day
