Geography and Science Teacher required for virtual Tutoring Sessions 

Team Educate are looking for a qualified Teacher to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 11 pupil who has been identified as needing additional support in Geography and Science.

The sessions will be virtually for these lessons with the sessions taking place via Zoom or TEAMs.

This tuition is likely to be for 2 hours a week to start with (in the evenings) but is more than likely to be extended. We do also have lots of other requirements as well so can pair you with additional children for more weekly hours.
We are looking for qualified teachers throughout Devon, Cornwall, North Somerset, Somerset and Bristol. Lessons will normally be 1-3 hours long and can range from 1-5 sessions per week per child. There is also the possibility of working with more than 1 child for weekly sessions. The sessions can be during school hours, in the evenings and on weekends (depending on tutor availability and need of the child)

About the role:

  • Part time work Monday – Sunday (Could also be full time)
  • Pay rate £25 – £30 per hour
  • Most of the pupils will have SEND needs so we require tutors with experience of working with young people with a range of different needs and abilities

  • School / Tutor experience
  • Good subject knowledge throughout Primary
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
