Higher Level Teaching Assistant required for lovely Year 4 class!

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to become a HLTA,  to work in a charming two form entry Primary School in Frampton Cotterell. This role would be working with a class of Year 4 children and would require you to cover the class one afternoon a week, with another Teaching Assistant, whilst the Class Teacher is on PPA. This role is full time and will be until the end of the academic year with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Experience in working with children with ASD is desired but not essential. 

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Position: Year 4 classroom Teaching Assistant with 1 afternoon per week covering a class
  • Location: Frampton Cotterell
  • Start Date: Term 3
  • Salary: £65 – £85 per day
  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year

To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:

  • Experience working with children
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references that can be contacted
