Team Educate are seeking a reliable History Teacher to work in one of our excellent partner schools, rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, in inner Birmingham.
This role is a permanent position and the successful teacher should be available to start in January 2024.

Team Educate are seeking a reliable History Teacher with prior teaching experience in a similar role, a recently qualified teacher (ECT), or a recent PGCE graduate with the desire to teach one of these subjects at secondary level. The role will involve working closely with students and delivering lessons across both the History curriculum to secondary age pupils, including planning, teaching, marking, and monitoring progress. If you specialise in other Humanities subjects, we would still love to hear from you, especially if you are driven to undertake further CPD as part of your professional development within the role. Someone looking to get stuck into a long-term teaching role would benefit from being able to take the reins with this excellent opportunity.

The successful History Teacher will require:
- A teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
- The ability to tailor teaching and learning to ensure continued success of pupils in the school, including differentiating to provide support and to challenge.
- Exceptional behaviour management skills to maintain high standards and experience supporting SEND pupils.
- A proactive approach to supporting the development of students in History.
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
