The Learning Support role will involve working closely with young learners in a range of school settings to provide support for children with SEND, employing strategies and experience to enhance their education and school experience. Experience of working with children with special educational needs will be advantageous.

- Share knowledge and expertise in a specific field or area of interest
- Assist pupils in developing new skills and overcoming challenges
Learning Support Assistants will need:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Active listening skills to understand individual pupils’ needs and concerns
- Empathy and the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils
- Experience of working with children with additional learning needs (SEND)
- Registration with the DBS Update Service or willingness to process one with Team Educate
Learning Support Assistants working with Team Educate will benefit from:
- Support, advice and guidance from experienced teaching professionals
- A competitive daily pay rate
- A highly rewarding and fulfilling role, supporting pupils who will really benefit from your support and guidance
- Building a strong network of education professionals across schools in Birmingham
- Opportunities to secure longer-term employment if desired
As a 1-to-1 Learning Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others by sharing your knowledge, experience, and support.
