Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.

  • Assist with individual and small group work to ensure all students receive personalized attention.

  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

  • Provide support for students with special educational needs as required.

  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organization, and resource management.

  • Supervise students during break times, field trips, and extracurricular activities.

  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage active participation.

  • Work flexibly across various year groups and subjects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience working with children in an educational or care setting is desirable.

  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, such as ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools’ is preferred.

  • Passion for education and helping students succeed.

  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and work effectively with students of all abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
