Maths, English and Science Tutors

Team Educate are looking for qualified teachers to provide 1:1 tutoring to pupils throughout Bristol and the local area. We are the agency of choice, for a number of local authorities and require tutors for face-to-face tuition, in Bristol and the surrounding area.
You would be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis with a young person who has been identified as requiring additional support to help achieve her desired level. This can be working towards GCSE’s or age-related targets. We will have positions for Secondary tutors and you are required to have good subject knowledge in the required year(s). This is mainly for core subjects (Maths, English and Science) but we do also have require for other Secondary Subject Specialisms.
The hours can range during school, in the evenings or on the weekends. Depending on tutor availability and the requirement of the young learner. We are looking for qualified teachers throughout Bristol. Lessons will normally be 1-4 hours long and we may be able to offer a full day of lessons working with 2-3 different pupils or part time hours to fit around other commitments. The sessions can be during school hours, in the evenings and on weekends (depending on tutor availability)

You will be delivering core subject lessons to bridge the gap in their learning and support the pupils’ emotional needs

Most of the pupils will have SEND needs so we require tutors with experience of working with young people with a range of different needs and abilities

To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:

School / Tutor experience

Qualified Teacher Status of degree equivalent

Good subject knowledge in Maths, English and Science / Primary

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
