1:1 Teaching Assistant required to work with a Year 5 girl 2.5 days a week 

Team Educate are looking for a Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management to work in a mainstream primary school near Coleford. We have a requirement for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 5 girl who has some behaviour needs and attachment issues.

The school will be wanting you to build a strong relationship with the child and support her both academically and emotionally. The requirement is part time, working 2.5 days a week. However, these days can be flexible to fit the successful applicants prior commitments.

About the role:

  • Pay Rate: £65 – £85
  • Start Date: September 2021
  • 1:1 with a Year 5 child
  • Times: Part time / 2.5 days a week (day to be agreed)
  • Location: Near Coleford, BA3

To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:

  • Proactive attitude
  • Good work ethic
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references that can be contacted
