School Administrator required to support Attendance Officer
Team Educate are recruiting a school administrator to support a school’s Attendance Officer on behalf of a secondary school in Bath. The overwhelming body of evidence, suggests that attendance is an essential ingredient in children’s learning. Because of this, a thorough and professional attendance team is essential to a successful and thriving school.
This role will require the successful candidate to follow up on absences within school, help to find solutions with families and young adults and notice trends and patterns with pupil’s absences. This information will provide part of children’s bespoke interventions and help to protect and educate the children in this community.
The school require an administrator Monday – Friday to work 8:15 – 1:45. This role is initially for two weeks, however could be made permanent for the right candidate.
The successful administrator will:
- Have competent computer skills
- Be prepared to learn on the job and undertake training
- Work well both individually and as part of a team
- Have a friendly and caring demeanour
