Job Overview:

We are seeking adaptable and motivated Secondary Supply Teachers to provide high-quality teaching across various subjects. Whether you are a newly qualified teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, or an experienced teacher seeking flexible work, this role offers the chance to work in a variety of schools and classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across secondary subjects, following school policies and curriculum guidelines.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Follow lesson plans or prepare lessons when required, adapting to the needs of the class.
  • Mark and provide feedback on student work where necessary.
  • Maintain the welfare and safety of students during lessons.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it (ECTs welcome).
  • Ability to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 subjects. The ability to teach to KS5 in your subject specialism would be desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with students.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to teaching in new environments.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
