Job Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our pool of support staff for both short-term and long-term placements. This role involves working closely with classroom teachers, supporting the educational, emotional, and social needs of pupils across various age groups and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional help.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure all pupils have access to the curriculum.
- Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment, promoting student well-being.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support when necessary.
- Contribute to the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Support students during break times, trips, and other school activities.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable.
- A passion for working with young people and a commitment to their learning and development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- SEN experience is a bonus but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
