Year 2 Teaching Assistant required!

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work alongside 2 Classroom Teachers to assist a cohort of year 2 children with their learning in a lovely school in the BS10 area of Bristol. This will be a full-time position working 8:20 – 15:20 Monday – Friday working across 2 classes for the rest of this term and with a strong likelihood that this will extend into term 3.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can build strong working relationships and develop a great rapport with the pupils in both classes. Experience of SEND and SEMH is preferred but not essential.

The Role:

  • Position: Full time Year 2 Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Bristol, BS10
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: £65 – £85 per day
  • Duration: Term 2 with the likelihood to extend

To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:

  • Experience within a primary school
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references that can be contacted
