Safer recruitment is more than just carrying out checks – it’s about creating a culture where safeguarding is a priority from the very first stage of hiring.

Our safer recruitment process includes:

  • Verification of identity, right to work in the UK, and address history
  • Detailed reference checks with previous employers, covering at least the last 2 years
  • Employment history checks to account for any gaps in work or education

  • Face-to-face/Video call interviews to assess suitability, values, and understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

By following these steps, we make sure that the people we recruit are not only capable of doing the job but also share our commitment to keeping children safe.

As part of our dedication to high standards, we also offer a FREE training courses e.g. Level 2 Safeguarding Children, Prevent awareness course and much more to all staff.
