Team Educate are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistants to work in an ASD base within a mainstream school in the BS16 area.

Team Educate are on the hunt for an experienced and qualified SEND Teaching Assistant to work with an exceptionally high need child in KS1. The child presents a variety of challenges, however due to ACE’s they can have quite explosive and sometimes violent outbursts – because of this, experience working with children with ASD and trauma based practise is essential.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Regular work in a school until the end of the year with the possibility to extend beyond this
- Work within an incredibly supportive and experienced team of professionals
- A competitive day rate of £80 – £95 per day
- A charismatic and friendly group of children to work with
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will require:
- Experience working with SEND in a formal context
- A passion for supporting children with SEND
- A valid DBS certificate (or be willing to put a new one through)
- A valid right to work in the UK
